Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time-bound goals for my entrepreneurial, career, and educational journey.
Launch a small student venture
By the end of next school year, I will plan, launch, and operate one small income-generating venture, such as reselling, a local service, or a digital product. I will identify a target customer, create a basic budget, set prices, promote the venture, track expenses and revenue, and complete at least 10 real sales. Afterward, I will review customer feedback and calculate whether the venture made a profit so I can improve my decision-making.
Build my business knowledge
I will finish BEP2O with a strong final grade and build on the course by completing at least two additional short courses, books, or detailed readings about entrepreneurship, personal finance, budgeting, and leadership. For each resource, I will write a portfolio summary explaining three important ideas and one practical way I could apply them to a student venture, club executive role, or future healthcare organization.
Earn executive club positions
I will apply for executive positions in several school clubs and earn at least two leadership roles within one year. I will prepare thoughtful applications, speak confidently about my experience, and offer clear ideas for improving each club. In every role, I will help plan events, set timelines, delegate responsibilities fairly, communicate with members, solve problems, and request feedback. I will keep a record of the events and initiatives I support so I can measure my impact and strengthen the lead-by-example style I used in the Stuffie Shelter project.
Build sustained healthcare experience
I have already completed 40 volunteer hours and have previous shadowing experience. Before graduation, I will build on that foundation by reaching 400 total volunteer hours, including service at SickKids, where I hope to support patients, families, staff, and the hospital community in an appropriate volunteer capacity. I will continue shadowing healthcare professionals, including doctors, to observe communication, teamwork, ethics, decision-making, and the daily responsibilities of patient care. I will also research university science and pre-med pathways, maintain strong grades, and reflect on each experience so I can make an informed commitment to medicine.
