Direction & Purpose
Mission, Vision & Values
My Vision
To become a doctor and healthcare leader who improves people's lives through compassionate, evidence-based care; while using business knowledge and strong leadership to make healthcare teams and communities more effective, inclusive, and dependable.
My Mission
To prepare for medicine through strong academics, continued healthcare shadowing, and meaningful service. I have already completed 40 volunteer hours; my next goal is to reach 400 hours, including volunteering at SickKids. At school, I will pursue executive club positions where I can lead by example, organize teams, and turn ideas into measurable results.
Why it matters
My mission, vision, and values point in one direction: becoming a dependable leader who serves others. Reaching 400 volunteer hours, contributing at SickKids, and continuing to shadow healthcare professionals will help me understand patient care from several perspectives. Executive club roles will also let me practise planning, delegation, communication, accountability, and service-based leadership.
Work Ethic
Early to bed, early to rise; I show up, lock in, and lead by example.
Integrity
Like a food-safety auditor, I do things the right way even when no one is watching.
Resilience
My family rebuilt everything in a new country. I adapt and keep moving forward.
Teamwork
The best results come from a team with momentum and a clear plan.
Curiosity
I ask questions, research, and stay open to learning something new.
